ROD WINNING.  MR. WINNINGS ART PIECES HAVE BECOME SOMEWHAT OF A PHENOMENA WITH HIS PIECES BRINGING RECORD PRICES AT BOTH SOTHEBY'S AND CHRISTIES AUCTION HOUSES ALL OVER THE WORLD.  WE HERE IN TSAWWASSEN WERE FORTUNATE TO HAVE MR. WINNING DISPLAYING THIS PIECE AT THE TOWN CENTRE MALL LAST WEEKEND.  BELIEVE ME WHEN I SAY, THE INTEREST IN THIS PIECE WAS AMAZING AS COLLECTORS AND ART ADMIRERS FLOCKED TO THE MALL TO SEE MR. WINNINGS PIECE TITLED RUSTIC HINGE.  MR. WINNING IS A MEMBER OF THE LOCAL SOUTH DELTA ARTIST GUILD AND HAS BEEN ABLE THROUGH HIS ARTIST ABILITIES TO BRING THE SDAG'S IMAGE MORE INTO WORLD VIEW.  THIS PIECE WAS SOLD TO A COLLECTOR IN ROME WHO HAD BEEN ADVISED IT WAS TO BE SHOWN AND SOLD.  WHEN ASKED OF MR. WINNING WHO BOUGHT IT, MR. WINNING REPLIED ONE OF HIS EUROPEAN COLLECTORS, WHO WISHES TO REMAIN ANONYMOUS.  THE PRICE WAS NOT DISCLOSED.  SDAG WOULD LIKE TO THANK MR WINNING FOR HIS CONTINUED SUPPORT OF SDAG AND LOOK FORWARD TO HIS CONTINUED SUCCESS.  HARRY BELLICK MUSIC BOX RADIO.  JUST REMEMBER TO TAKE A WALK AROUND THE PARK.
